Kyoto Study Tour Program - Traditional Culture Experience
On January 15, 2024, SANYU START CO., LTD. successfully conducted a study tour program in Kyoto.
Program Overview
This study tour was a 3-day program centered on traditional culture experiences in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. Twenty students and researchers from China participated, with the aim of gaining deep understanding and practical learning of Japanese culture.
Main Activities
Day 1: Historical Architecture Tour
- Buddhist culture learning at Kiyomizu Temple
- Architectural art appreciation at Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion)
- Traditional Kyoto cuisine experience
Day 2: Traditional Crafts Experience
- Textile experience at Nishijin-ori workshop
- Pottery experience with Kiyomizu-yaki ceramics
- Bamboo craft-making workshop
Day 3: Cultural Exchange Activities
- Tea ceremony experience (Urasenke style)
- Calligraphy class participation
- Exchange meeting with local students

Future Plans
SANYU START CO., LTD. plans to continue conducting study tour programs regularly. The next program will combine modern industry visits and traditional culture experiences in Osaka.
